Growing in Grace

I need to develop godly attitudes.

A) Pray for godly attitudes in general & certain attitudes in particular.

B) Ask others to pray the same thing for you.

C) Repeat the attitude to help it sink in. Do this in conjunction with A & B!

Attitudes.

1. Where else can I go but to Jesus, the Lord of all creation and my Saviour?

2. "Who can say, 'I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin?'" Proverbs 20:9 (NIV)

3. "A person's steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?" Proverbs 20:24 (NIV)

I need to grow in prayer.

A great way to do this is to learn to pray the Bible. Pray this prayer until you can pray without reading:

Almighty God, You have told us that it is good to wait patiently for diliverance from the Lord. You know our anxious hearts, and how difficult this is. Please send the Holy Spirit and bring the Gospel home to my heart, so that I might wait well. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I need to get God’s word in my mind and heart.

I need to do something or start to do something.
